John Hardin, the owner of Hardin Residential Coatings got his start in the painting industry as a commercial/industrial sandblaster working his way up to Crew Leader in the field. From there, John joined the International Painters Union and began working on some of the largest industrial projects in the St. Louis area and many projects across the US. As a journeyman painter John earned certifications in OSHA, Safespan bridge scaffolding & Lead RRP working in some of the toughest and most precarious situations. On the side, John did small sandblasting and metal painting projects for customers and eventually built a heated containment paint booth in his shop. John's customers started asking for estimates on residential projects so, he expanded to serve those needs as well.
In 2019 John founded Hardin Residential Coatings and by word of mouth, the amount of work that started coming in forced John to leave the industrial painting field and focus solely on the business he founded. The company quickly grew and with John's wide knowledge of coatings, substrates and safety practices the company expanded to offer Log Home Refinishing.
Today, Hardin Residential Coatings is a full service coatings company that offers many services with great reviews from it's customers.
